Arif Azad is one of the most influential writers in the field of literature in Bangladesh recently. Born on January 7, 1990, in Chittagong, the writer completed his secondary education at Chittagong District School. After passing higher secondary in a government college, he got admitted to Chittagong University and completed his higher education there. From the very beginning of his writing career, Arif Azad's books received a great response from the readers.

His first book 'Paradoxical Sajid' was published at the 2016 Ekushey Book Fair. Sajid, the central character of the book, refutes the disbelief of his atheist friend through various scientific arguments in various conversations. And through these conversations, the author refutes many arguments of the unbelievers in the book. The book gained immense popularity soon after its publication. It has also been translated into English and Assamese. ‘Paradoxical Sajid-2’ was published at Ekushey Book Fair in 2019 and it also became a bestseller. Apart from the Sajid series, Arif Azad's books include 'Araj Ali Samipe' and 'Satyakathan' (coauthor).
